Hi everyone! This time I'm going to tell you about 5 of my favorite things.
A song that I treasure is called Notte Stellata from Il Volo, an Italian group of three that combines the classic genre with lyrical pop. This song is based on the Saint-Saens - Le Cygne, classical music of the 19th century. The sample has a really sweet and romantic lyric that melted my heart. When I read the translation I felt so sensitive, it’s beautiful. I discovered this incredible song because of the Ice figure skater, Yuzuru Hanyu. He danced to this song at the gala of Pyeongchang 2018, after he won his second gold medal. I'm a big fan. The dance makes the music even more special. I leave it here for you to see.
One of my favorite films is ‘Parasite’ , a Korean movie. The social critica that makes it so interesting. I don’t watch movies often because I'm good at predicting what is going to happen when it gets boring. I also get distracted easily but this is a really immersive film. It keeps me focused the whole time. The plot, the aesthetic and how the movie unfolds, it’s awesome. This movie won an Oscar in 2020, it totally deserved it.
A piece of technology that I like the most is my ipad. I love to draw and digital art is not the exception. I also use this for taking notes in classes and watching series. I’m an ipad kid jajajaj. I’ll show you one of my drawings. I have a lot that isn't finished yet because I have the bad habit of letting them when I get saturated so, don’t judge me jajajj. I’m not so good at digital drawing but I try.
I talked about this book in On my Radar blog, but it’s so good that I'm going to talk about this again LOL. This book is called Semantic Error, It's a Korean Novel from the author Soori Jeo. It's about two boys with opposite personalities that hate each other at the start, but then fall in love. I’m not going to spoil it, just read it. You are not going to regret it. It has five volumes, and it’s so light and funny to read! (has different versions too; Kdrama, Manhwa, Animation, and Novel)
A souvenir that I appreciate is this little piece of art that I bought in Cusco, Perú. When I went to Machu Picchu on a family trip. These are landscapes of Machu Picchu and the places around, and cost me only $5 soles each one, cheaper than should be. I love to paint in watercolor so I bought these beautiful paints for the memory and to support local watercolor artists.
Parasite is a great movie and I also love your drawing. Very talented!! at drawing.
